The Spear & Jackson Razorsharp Cutting Set contains our Razorsharp Hedge Shears (8110RS/09), Razorsharp Bypass Secateurs (7159BS) and Razorsharp Steel Telescopic Anvil Lopper (4902RSS) to cover the vast majority of your cutting and pruning needs in the garden or allotment. The Hedge Shears have 230mm (9 inch) cutting blades which have been chrome plated for rust resistance and also include a cutting notch to allow easy cutting of thicker singular stems. The handles incorporate a shock absorber and are finished with soft-feel grips for greater comfort during use. The Bypass Secateurs utilise a scissor like cutting action, best suited to use on living or 'green' stems up to 15mm in diameter. The carbon steel upper blade is PTFE coated for lasting sharpness and resistance to rust. The secateurs also feature ergonomic handles and a soft feel grip for comfort. The Razorsharp Steel Telescopic Anvil Loppers use a knife like cutting action onto a flat lower blade, this type of action is best used on thicker or dead 'woody' material up to 42mm in diameter, please note an anvil action can flatten or distort a cut when used on living material. The carbon steel blades have been hardened and tempered for durability and also polished and lacquered for smooth cutting and resistance to rust. The tubular steel handles provide strength and incorporate a simple to operate twist and lock telescopic mechanism to allow for a greater and variable reach when required.
